Santa Barbara Public Market is a vibrant food court located at 38 W Victoria St, Santa Barbara. This culinary emporium captures the essence of local flavors, offering an extensive range of dining options that cater to various palates—including vegetarian and vegan delights. Dishes such as the Fried Chicken Sandwich, brimming with flavors from popcorn fried chicken and Vietnamese vinaigrette, receive accolades for their deliciousness. For those seeking lighter fare, the Grilled Vegetable Panini and Little Gem Caesar salad add a refreshing touch. Notably, the Fala Bar stands out for its entirely vegan menu, satisfying the health-conscious diner. The market periodically hosts events and gatherings, with one reviewer noting that a New Year’s party hosted there was exceptionally well-organized, thanks to attentive staff like Natalie. This place is like a food court when it gets crowded but food is good. We found lot of vegetarian and vegan options here so we were happy. Fala bar was our favourite, everything is vegan so you don’t have to think twice about anything and amazing taste. We found 2 veggie tacos at Corazon Cocino which were really good and had vegan dish of the day from empty bowl noodle bar. Overall good food

We had our New Year’s party here, and it was fantastic! The place was beautifully decorated for the holiday, creating such a festive atmosphere. Natalie was amazing — she accommodated us on such short notice and made everything run smoothly. Everyone was happy with the food choices; there was something for everyone. I’ve held events at the Santa Barbara Public Market before the pandemic, and it was always great, but this year was exceptional. I definitely plan on hosting more events here in the future. Highly recommend!

It's kind of an industrial high end food emporium where you can find something for everyone. They need to work on the number of bathrooms...very poor

Fun and casual atmosphere. We ate at the Corazon Cantina and it did not disappoint. The Mercado quesadilla was delish and the salsa choices were all delicious! There’s great choices of cuisine for every one.

I was really surprised when I went inside this place. There are many small restaurants to choose from. They have a very nice seating area inside but they also have a nice outside seating area. I definitely want to go back and try the other restaurants. Also each restaurant has their own little seating areas. There are restrooms inside.

I've been a supporter of the SB Public Market since it's inception, I even worked there for a year at one point. There's a lot to do in the building that used to be a Vons grocery store back in the day. I love that they saved the tile murals from the store and incorporated them into the building on the Chapala Street side. Pizza, burgers, tacos, ice cream, adult beverages and lots of big televisions are just some of the things you'll find there. I wonder if they've ever thought of a gift shop? It's a locally owned slice of what we love about Santa Barbara.
